Family Support Program in Danger of Being Cut From State Budget

The Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities submitted to Governor Haslam in November eliminates funding for the Family Support Program for FY 2012-2013. The program provides essential support to more than 4,000 individuals of all ages with severe disabilities.

Disability Law & Advocacy Center of Tennessee  (DLAC) strongly supports restoring funding for the Family Support Program. DLAC's full position statement is available here.
